I really don't understand people say cooking takes time.

20 minutes max for 2 meals.

I can get a meal on the table in about 30 minutes which includes setting the table. Depends on what you are making I guess. But most meals I make are about 30 minutes for me to get done....I do use the slow cooker and that is unattended for about 4 hours then the rest comes together in about 30 minutes.

I have learned my lesson. Cutting and freezing ingredients in 2 meals portion.
Taking them out of the freezer the night before and cook in 20-30 minutes.

Except for Iranian meals that take hours. But those I cook in large pots to freeze 10 to 15.mrals

my cooking has simplified a lot.; I once thought I needed to make 5 cabbages worth of stuffed cabbage but now the head will yield 5-10 good leaves I make that much...since we have put the freezer that came with the house on a separate circuit, plugged it in, and on the back-up generator I freeze the "bargains" Q can find....he can not eat spicy stuff anymore so I have a limited seasoning list...plus he decided to hate dill and parsley OY what russian can't use dill!!!!!! I just bought a huge bag of dried dill when he decided he no longer cares for it....living in disaster climate and a decent drive from a store I think different when I cook and buy stuff....when I had the Old One living with me I could not leave here for more than 30 minutes and shopping was a nightmare....

Diml IS really expensive here and hard to find
I used to grow most of them myself when I was in Paris, but here in the south of France they don't seem to germinate. I love dill. I used it in almost everything I cook. From soups to omelette, pickles and stir fry.

same here on everything. I do for myself. I do not know why dill should not grow there....maybe just bad seeds...even here in the north it is grow able not that I grow anything anymore...try again; it is not happy in a small pot and may need a clay pot.
